Unit Conversion

ExpressionsConvert.png

Overview

Apply a unit conversion to each value in a selected data stream.

Syntax

=convert([data stream], "fromUnit", "toUnit")

Example

=convert([temp_f], "f", "c")

Uses with other Expressions

You can combine =convert with other expressions. For example, a data stream could be converted to a different unit and then smoothed using the =smooth function by nesting the =convert function inside the =smooth function parameters:

=smooth(convert([speed], "mph", "kph"))
